Everything you need to know about FitBake Frosting
No refrigeration needed. Our frosting is shelf-stable and is best stored at room temperature. Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, refrigeration can help preserve the flavor for an extended time if you plan to leave it opened for more than a few weeks. Always bring back to room temperature before use.
FitBake frosting is made with premium ingredients like monk fruit, palm fruit oil, and pure vanilla extract, instead of refined sugar, corn syrup and artificial flavors. These ingredients are significantly more costly, and we also produce in smaller batches with strict quality standards. The result is a rich, creamy frosting that tastes like the classic version, just made with better ingredients.
We use non-hydrogenated, sustainable palm fruit oil, which is rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, and antioxidants that act as natural preservatives, and gives our frosting its rich, creamy texture. Refined palm kernel oil is a completely different oil and has unfortunately given all palm oils a bad reputation.
There is about 16 tablespoons (1 cup) of frosting in a jar. Product may expand or settle depending on temperature. Each jar contains enough frosting to cover approximately two 8x8-inch cakes or 16-24 cupcakes.
All of our frostings are gluten-free. Our vanilla buttercream and chocolate buttercream are made with plant based ingredients, but our cream cheese frosting contains milk.
Our Vanilla Buttercream Frosting contains 0g net carbs and 4g total carbs per serving. It's sweetened naturally with erythritol, monk fruit extract, and stevia extract.
Net carbs are the carbohydrates that are most likely to have the biggest impact on blood sugar. They're calculated by subtracting fiber and certain non-impact sweeteners from total carbohydrates.
Our frosting has 0g added sugar and 0g net carbs per serving, so it tends to work well for most diabetics. Everyone has different requirements, so we recommend always consulting your doctor for dietary advice.
