FitBake cake mix is made with premium ingredients like almond flour, coconut flour, monk fruit, and high quality cocoa powder, instead of refined sugar, bleached flour and artificial flavors. These ingredients are significantly more costly than the ingredients used in traditional cake mix. We feel investing in our health is worth it.

One bag of our chocolate cake mix make one 8x8-inch square or round layer, two 7x7-inch round layers, or three 6x6 inch round layers. If you want to make a larger double layer cake, we recommend preparing two bags of mix.

First, choose your preparation style: classic moist, ultra-rich & moist, or non-dairy. Simply add eggs, Greek yogurt or sour cream, and oil or water to the mix (ingredients vary depending on style). Stir until smooth, pour into a parchment paper lined 8x8-inch pan, and bake at 325-350°F for 26-29 minutes. Full instructions are on the back panel of the package.

Yes! Our chocolate cake mix is gluten-free, made with finely ground blanched almond flour and coconut flour instead of regular flour.

While we do have a non-dairy preparation option, our cake mix does not work well with egg substitutes, and therefore does not work for vegan diets.

No. Coconut flour is used in a small amount to help create the right texture, but you won't taste coconut in the finished cake. The flavor is classic and neutral, just like traditional chocolate cake.

Our Classic Chocolate Cake Mix has just 2g net carbs and 20g total carbs per serving, when prepared according to the classic moist recipe. It's sweetened naturally with allulose, erythritol and monk fruit extract, with no added sugar.

Net carbs are the carbohydrates that are most likely to have an impact on blood sugar. They're calculated by subtracting fiber and certain non-impact sweeteners from total carbohydrates. For the chocolate cake mix, 20g total carbs - 3g fiber - 9g erythritol - 6g allulose = 2g net carbs

Our cake mix has 0g added sugar and only 2g net carbs per serving, so it tends to work well for most diabetics. Everyone has different requirements, so we recommend always consulting your doctor for dietary advice.
