- 1 bag Fit Bake Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup Fit Bake Chocolate Frosting
- 1 1/2 cups sugar-free chocolate chips and/or white chocolate chips, melted
Prepare cake mix according to package instructions. Bake and allow to cool completely.
Crumble cake in a large bowl until it resembles fine crumbs.
If your frosting is already at a very easily spreadable consistency, add it to the crumbled cake and stir until a thick dough forms. If the frosting is too firm, first place it in a microwave safe cup and gently heat in 5-10 second intervals.
Form dough into 1.5-inch balls, and place on a wax paper or parchment lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator until dough is firm, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Melt chocolate chips. If melted chocolate mixture is too thick, add a small amount of melted coconut oil or butter. You’ll want an easily pourable texture.
Remove cake balls from the fridge. One by one, stick a fork into each ball, and cover in melted chocolate. Alternatively you may use lollipop sticks to make true cake pops. Return to the wax or parchment lined baking sheet, top with sprinkles if desired, and allow to harden. Store in the refrigerator.
